Chris thinks this is David Lake, but it might be Killarney Lake on Day five.

Sunrise on Balsam Lake.

Can't just take one shot.

Early on in our march to Silver Peak.
Cairns everywhere. Some were angels, some were devils.
Beautiful view. And we weren't anywhere near to Silver Peak yet.
...but no self-timer to be had.

The trail to Silver Peak. Or is it into oblivion? It took some time to figure out which.
Here we are, about 20 minutes from the summit, I think.

It was a bit of climb. We took some time to reflect, meditate, contemplate and/or collapse.
David Lake, where we were camped.
Somewhere beyond that first ridge is George Lake, I reckon.

Hey everybody, smell me! Eeeeew.
Happily there were other hikers about.
Mountain top yoga. Here, Karin, Cathy and Lynne practice a maneuver known as "the corpse."
Somewhere out there is the Copper Cliff smelter, aka the Sudbury Superstack. You can see it with eyes, just not with a wimpy Kodak DC260.
Now why didn't we spot this on the way out? Good Samaritan rock arrow.
David Lake. Cathy's out pumping water.
